We could be in for a tough one. Admirals are red-hot. 4-0 and with 23 goals for and 7 against, this could be an ugly one. Embarassed

Not to mention they have what has got to be the biggest team in the league.
Mitch fritz is amazingly not the only 6-8er on the team. He is joined by Vladimir Mihalki. The rest of the team never had a problem with height restrictions at carnival rides either. Shocked Seven guys over 6' 3":

33 Troy Milam D R 6-0 185

Mirasty willingly fought Fritz last year. It's safe to say he had a hell of a time reaching him:

Mirasty fared much better against a 6' 8" Riley Emmerson of the Amerks a couple of season ago, but Mirasty was able to pull a much weaker Emmerson within his reach.

Any predictions?

Fritz was kind hard for jonny. the Emmerson fights were hilarious Jonny waving and pumping up the crowd was priceless. no doubt him and Fritzy will have a go Friday. with most of the paying fans coming to see "Nasty" and the new gloves on the wall for every fight. Howard has him there for a specific role. Jonny knows his role and will stick to it. You know he will be wanting a redeeming shot at Frtzy.

Well one good thing is if the game gets out of control on the score board there could be some very nice fights!

The numbers on Norfolk are impressive. Hopefully we can get some SOG this game.
Looking forward to see what Sbisa can do.

I've always liked the "if you can't beat them..... beat them up" mentality

Well, sometimes it's good to be wrong. I think the Crunch stunned everyone.

Coming into tonight Norfolk was unbeaten, avg 6+ goals a game, allowing less than 2 goals a game and has closed the gates in the third period shutting out all four opponents thus far.

Check, check, check and check.

We win, contain them to 1 goal, score three including one in the third period.

Still lacking in the S.O.G. dept. But I think we had plenty of chances tonight. The Crunch can do good things when, and I stress when, they have the puck.

Nice work on the P.P. unit tonight.

I am still on the fence about the two ref system. It seems to make for a long night.

I was very surprised by the play tonight. I noticed the guys really seem to be getting better with their passes. any of the back-hand or no look passes seemed to actually land on target and not someplace else. I think the guys are starting to get that on ice feel for their team mates. you could hear the " Crying or Very sad " in the crowd when they announced that Mirasty was scratched. not sure of the exact reason but it seemed justified. Fitzy was hurt and scratched. small crowd due to the midnight madness at the dome, people staying home to watch yankees. why risk injury.

1st of all i`m happy for the win, and Deschamps and Sbisa 2point night.

But i was wondering, if Defense is really that bat, that they allow so many shots on Levasseur.

Well we got the 2 points and beat a strong team. Timo again was outstanding. I like Dipenta as our captain.
Dropping the gloves after Norfolk scores. even though he didn't fare to well it still get's your bench going.
These young forwards have amazing skill when they have the puck on their stick, but I see that is the biggest problem. 3 Sog in the 2nd period. If Holick can get these guys to control the puck more we will be dangerous.
hopefully puck possesion is addressed.
