It seems we are in a battle for last place with Adirondack and we know how they love to play the Crunch...Pretty sad...5 points out of last place.

We will probably win more than 18 games than a prior Crunch team won but this team is bad. Goal tending is sporadic, porous defense (both D-men and fowards), no go to point scorers. Bonino and Sexton probably the only two that can play on 1st line with other AHL teams. Rest of players are 2/3/4 liners. Traded leading scorer and send the only player that knew how to play tough and teach this team toughness down to Elmira. Rookie coaches still trying to learn the league. I really have to question if this team would even be a contender in the ECHL or CHL. Season ticket holders are disgruntled and even though the fans are still supporting the team it is not fun spending money to see a team that is going now where. I wonder if Anaheim ever meant to give us a competitive team or just decieded to send us youth so they could see how they developed. I fear that Anaheim's approach is killling hockey in Syracuse. If next's years team isn't much better Howard should dump Anaheim. So far this year, Anaheim has shown it can TALK THE TALK, but it can't WALK THE WALK.
