Well it made sense that if they were going to give up a player as important to us as Smith, they must be going after someone more obvious than the one they got in return so it was going to be fun to wait and see what shows up BUT reading the follow up article, it sounds like what we see is what we got. HMM Seems like we gave up something that was working, to get something that we were making work without. It doesnt even sound like it had anything to do with the welfare of Syracuse anyway but more that they were looking for more depth for the big club. If they really do know what they are doing, maybe Nick's return will off set the loss of Smith and Guenen will just be a plus. It would be great to think that this really is a step in the right direction for all (except for Smith...He still goes to Columbus heehee)...Now when do we get a goalie??

Yeah there is a bright trade. Trade someone with potential for someone who hasn't shown any potential yet. Hmm.
