Yeah, what a joke. How can a guy, who allegedly was a "tough" guy say such a thing? Wow, Howard better have a few words after that.

Let's be honest, this isn't a cup contending team. So let's pick up a few wins, go as far as we can in the play-offs and watch Mirasty do what he does best.

I for one, will be e-mailing the brass about Jon. It's not like we have 25 snipers that would have to sit for Jon. Take some of these bums that have taken the last 2 months off and rotate them....send a message.

Holick will be singing a different tune when Lessard or PL3 take a run at one of our young guys.

I would say this comment by Holick pretty much solidifies the fact that he doesn't want him fighting and the rumor was true. What a dick.

"Fighting, I don't know where it's going in the game,'' Holick said. "I don't know where it is. I'm trying to be delicate here. I can appreciate what Jon does. It's a tough job. He's a very popular guy. We just felt that this lineup is what we needed to try to be successful.''

Pretty stupid comment by Holick because Anaheim is 4th in the NHL with 30 fighting majors.
George Parros leads the league with 11 fighting majors.
Anaheim has played 36 games this year so they avg. just under a fight per game.
Yes fighting does not happen as much as it used to, but to say "I don't know where it's going" or
"where it is" makes no sense. It always has and always will have a place in North American hockey.

The more I think about it Anaheim has nothing invested in Jon, and possibly word from the top is
to get guys more games that could possibly help the big club.
Holick probably can't say that publicly so his hands are tied, but it was just something I thought about.
