I would be a little nervous right now. Especially seeing Anaheim get rid of the garbage and bring in new players. I'd be worried about my neck next, you would think that might be some incentive to come up with better strategies, but so far it looks the same game to game. Even if we continue to take losses, I will still go to the games I just won't be as happy. But we all need to remember(this may or may not be a part of it) that this is considered a rebuilding year. It's kind of like adjusting someones meds until they're work properly, right now this team seems to be adjusting until they themselves are right.

If I was Holick..... I would not come out for the third fuckin period.

I miss the second period to shovel my driveway and rake my roof and I come in to this? Final straw.

    Holick must go now.

Mr. Mike: Now do you see why I can't be calm about this team? There is something radically wrong with this bunch- whether it's coaching, lack of talent, or a combination of both. All I know is it gets harder by the day to watch them or give a **** about what goes on with this team!

Loan that D-bag Holick your Elmer Fudd hat so he can hide his face as he leaves town.

The things is, Syracuse actually has plenty of talent in the lineup.

Paetsch, Festerling, Green, Smith, Maroon, Palmieri, Sexton. Not a lot, but more than a lot of teams.

It's gotta go back to coaching.

I agree. This team is either hot or cold. Zero consistency. If they don't score 10 gaols, the "coach" changes the lines, win or lose. It's a joke.

Holick can't have my Fudd hat. It's too good for him.

Well you guys got blaming the coaches all set. I'll blame the goaltending. 18 goals in three games, 18 goals. Doesn't matter which one is in net both suck right now. I think this is what many worried about early in the year, rookie coach+ untested goalies+ young forwards= inconsistent play.

I agree with reamc, this team is in a big time need of goaltending stat. The two young goaltenders we have now are just not going to get it done this year I'm afraid. Anaheim has made some moves this year in other areas, I would love to see them bring in a veteran goalie.

Our goalies are a big problem too. It's like Swiss cheese down there, I have never seen more inconsistent goal-tending. One game it's JP, next game it's Timo, then back to JP, then back to Timo.....I hope Anaheim steps in very soon concerning the coach and hopefully getting us a veteran goalie.

Forget the excuse that "the players are new to each other and the coaches haven't worked with these players for that long." They have all had enough time together to at least play with some improvement. I'm not even saying wins and losses. When i watch this team play it seems they have zero strategy in the offensive zone, with any pressure from the opposition the puck is taken from them anyway. The whole team has no concept of puck
possesion, which is why they are out shot by 20 or more in the majority of their games.
This team doesn't hit anyone either. It seems that their gameplan is to cherrypick around the blueline and wait
for a pass that will get picked off in the neutral zone.

Ross Yates at least had some strategy to the offense and his teams did play physical. I didn't agree with some of Yates decisions but alot of people would complain about Yates, and C'bus taking our players. To me it was one or the other and I thought Yates got a raw deal.

I don't think Anaheim will fire Holick during the season but he better get these guys to at least look respectable
by the end of the season.

Probably hiding in the same place with the guy that said Markstrom was the world's best goalie outside of the NHL. Just sayin'

that's what happens when you buy into pre-season hype. We're all guilty of it.

Well technically, I was just echoing what the scouts said. That wasn't my own proclamation. But point taken. He's been awful.

Not for nothing, and it's no excuse, but after watching the highlights, I find a little solace in seeing that about 5 of the goals scored against were off skates. Timo should be alert and ready, but.....ahhh

Also Salters embarrassed Herauf. Good. That tool bag will avoid Mirasty at all costs, but tries to punk every one else.

P.S. My position on Holick remains the same.

Just heard Holick on pregame making up a bunch of excuses for the lousy gameplay. He also said things like our players need to keep their sticks on the ice(that's a given) and some other random comments. My question is why are they not doing what he says? If the team is not listening to him, that means they don't respect him. We don't need excuses from Holick, we need results, we don't need him to tell Jason Lockhart what the team needs to do. We need him to tell the team what they need to do to improve their game. Holick appears to be all talk. I'm at a loss.

If I was Holick I would make a public apology to the fans of the Crunch because playing in the War Memorial from now on is just not going to be any fun at all!
