Bickel and Carter are gone.

Kennedy, 21, was playing with the Hurricanes’ AHL team in Charlotte, where he had no goals and one assist in eight games. Previously, the 2009 fifth-round pick played four-plus seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm and Barrie Colts. Chaput, 22, was also playing for the Charlotte Checkers, where he had no goals and three assists in 20 games after playing in two previous seasons with the Albany River Rats. Both Kennedy and Chaput are signed to two-day deals and will report to the Ducks’ AHL affiliate in Syracuse.

Nigel Williams was drafted by the Saginaw Spirit in 12th Round of the 2005 OHL Priority Selection, 263rd overall. Williams was projected to be the 11th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, but was chosen in the second round by the Colorado Avalanche. Nigel Williams later left the University of Wisconsin to play in the OHL. In the 2007-08 season, Nigel was traded to the Belleville Bulls helping the Bulls advance to the Memorial Cup before they were eliminated in the semi-finals.[1] Williams was signed to an entry-level contract with the Avalanche on August 11, 2008. In the 2008-09 season, Williams made his professional debut with Avalanche affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. Nigel finished the season with 21 points in 70 games, leading the Monsters defense. On July 16, 2009, Williams was traded by the Avalanche to the New York Rangers in exchange for Brian Fahey. On November 23, 2010, Williams was then traded by the Rangers to the Anaheim Ducks for Stu Bickel.

Too many fwds isn't a bad problem to have. Hopefully knowing that you could be on the chopping block might light a fire under the asses of some guys.

I will give credit to the Ducks. They are making moves to improve the team. As I remember Columbus did the same thing. Gave us weak teams then tried to tweak them. I would like to see us come out of the gate with a strong team at the begining of a season one of these years.

With the economy the way it is, losing is not good for attendance which affects the financial stability of the team.

Crunch still have to crank up the intensity. Forwards need to play better defense when the other team has the puck. Finishing off checks hard so the other team's player looks to see who hit him.

Hopefully the new guys can score.

Made the trip to Rochester after Friday/Saturdays game. Do not want to witness that type of performance again.

The War Memorial is a great home ice advantage and the Crunch need to take advantage of that. What ever happened to the HOUSE OF PAIN banner, team concept.

Is the team's style of play a reflection of the coach or the Duck's on ice style of play.
